Yeah, I know it’s a long area to cover but don’t worry, just enjoy the trip.
In this article, I will guide you based on my 3 years of traveling journey! We will discuss the complete 60-day road trip in the USA while discussing how to spend each day to get the most out of your USA trip. If you are traveling with your friends or kids, the enjoyment even gets more adventurous. So, let’s begin.
2 Month Road Trip Across the USA Itinerary
In this article, I am considering that you are landing at Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport which is the most populous airport in the USA. However, this guide is not restricted to that location only.
Day 1 – Land to your favorite destination and book your hotels for the first day.
Day 2 – Explore your nearby markets and parks
Day 3 – Pick some daily use products and get ready for a long trip
Day 4 – Have a trip to the DTours; It is just 9.9 kilometers from the Atlanta International Airport
Day 5 – DTours have more adventurous things to do – Visit The Walking Dead and enjoy the history of Hollywood in the south
Day 6, 7 & 8 – Explore the Atlanta sites – The Valley, MCU, and book a local guide. Believe me, Atlanta has a lot of things to do
Day 9 – Passion for a sports car? Book a taxi and reach the Porsche Experience Center Atlanta which is just about 3 km from the Atlanta Airport
Day 10 – Enjoy Arches Brewing in Hapeville which is just 3.3 km from your current location. It is best known for its old-world and modern-style writing brewing practices.
Day 11, 12, 13 & 14 – How many seasons in a year? You say three but Hendersonville, just 3 hours away from Atlanta International Airport, is known for the 4 seasons. You can book a taxi and stay in hotels nearby to explore the following locations –

Day 15 to 21 – Heads to New Orleans, the most sought-after location for tourist destinations in the USA. Whether it is about vibrant nightlife or live music events, it just lightens you. The following are the most adventurous activities you can take part in –

Day 33 to 40 – A beautiful trip to Philadelphia! Do you know Philadelphia is among the eight cities of Michelin’s distinguished collection of global guidebooks? Day 40 to 50 – Explore Boston City – A national leader of education that played a starring role in the revolution of 1700. It is also famous for some of America’s oldest buildings before independence and is worth visiting. You can enjoy the premium hotel and resort services of Boston city.
Day 51 to 56 – Cambridge is just another city known as the education hub of the United States and is just a 10-minute distance from your current city. Take a one-day-long trip to Cambridge University which is among the world’s best universities. Additionally, exploring the Fitzwilliam Museum, King’s College Chapel, beautiful sightseeing, etc is popular to explore.
Day 57 to 60 – Fly back to the Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport and stay in the hotel. Next 2 days you can explore the Atlanta market like Green Market in Piedmont Park, Municipal Market, Ponce City farmer market, Grant Park, etc. Finally, move back to your home with lots of memories and shopping packets (if you did)
